Hi,
I am having trouble following the steps of Peter Monta for Installing Linux
on the iPaq without Windows.
When I make a PPP connection between the Linux PC and the iPaq after about
20 seconds, the iPaq drops the connection. It displays a dialog box
containing the error message : "Communications Error : Cannot connect to PC.
The PC is unavailable or busy".
The log messages from my Linux PC are as follows :
Sep 4 18:06:08 sydhcp131225 chat[6041]: timeout set to 3600 seconds

I am using Redhat 6.2 with the 2.4.0-test5 Linux kernel. I also installed
the PPP tools version 2.3.11.
It is worth noting that my PC is also connected to a LAN.
Can anyone suggest what my problem is ? Does it have something to do with
the routing on my PC ?
Does it have anything at all to do with the iPaq ?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
- Talei.
