It's most likely that the battery has gone flat, h5xxx iPAQs are notorious
for that problem and the handhelds.org 2.4 kernel doesn't have perfect
power management on that device yet (there should be some improvements
when we are able to move to 2.6, which is being developed). Unless your
battery has stopped working you should be able to revive it.
BTW once you have got the device powered up, if you want to restore WinCE
