Hi, I'm trying to restore a Windows CE installation on my H5550. I have
followed the directions you give, but I don't know how to restore the asset
partition. I do have an asset_image.gz created by BootBlaster but I can see
no way to put it back, and my WLAN does not work properly on Windows, I
think that because of that.

I have searched through the Internet and I have seen that I should have (if
this is not so, please tell me) three partitions:

bootldr, beginning at 0x0, size 0x40000 and flag 0x2
root, beginning at 0x40000, size 0x1f80000 and flag 0x18
asset, beggining at 0x1fc0000, size 0x40000 and flag 0x0

Well, when I ask bootldr-pxa-2.21.12 (or 2.20.4) to show the partition map,
it only shows bootldr and root partitions, being the size of the latter
0x1fc0000. I have tried to erase it and recreate it with proper size, but it
ignores me and always makes it 0x1fc0000 in size, leaving no room for the
asset partition. I have tried to create the asset partition first, then the
root partition, but the size is always wrong. In fact, these two partitions
would overlap, according to the bootldr. Then, no matter how hard I try,
after a reset, I find myself with the very same partition table as before.
Is this a bug in the bootldr? Is there some special procedure I am not aware
of? Is there an easier way to restore the asset partition?

Thank you very much for your help. :)

Kind regards,
Daniel Berjón
