Hello,
I have been using the various distros of linux on my ipaq 3670 for some
time now. I have used cf cards for most of the installs with no problems
untill recently. I currently have just the boot strap installed, so my ipaq
isn't very usefull, as I can no longer find my serial cable (I have ordered
a new one, though). Since I have been unable to do anything with the unit,
I decided to flash the latest version of opie, but the cf reflash tool gives
me this error: "Can't read control file". I have downloaded the most recent
version, now of all three (bootstrap, GPE, and opie) to no avail. I have
tried looking on the site for any additional information, but have had no
luck. It was recomended to me that I attempt an install over the serial
cable, which I will do when I receive the new one. I am hoping though, that
perhaps someone else has had this problem, or atleast knows of it, and might
be able to help me out.

Things I have tried (but that didn't work):
  - new cf card
  - different distros
  - old download of distro (worked previously, when first downloaded)

If there is some tip or pointer that anyone can give me, I will greatly
appreciate it.

Luke
