Hello,

I am not sure if this is where I could ask about this kind of thing,
but I'll give it a shot anyways...

I have a 3950 which I ran Linux on, when I then tried to restore the
wince.gz image on to the device using the serial console, something
went terrible wrong. Now I cannot connect using the serial console
anymore, I cannot boot the device either, it halts at the boot screen
and will not go any further.

I have no clue what went wrong, and no clue on how to fix it. If there
is someone who could help me with this issue I would greatly
appreciate it!

And I also saw this "Compaq CRL (Cambridge Research Lab) will fix any
units that fail to restore properly, but we would like to avoid
problems rather than correcting them afterwards."
on this page http://www.handhelds.org/handhelds-faq/wincerestoration.html
Is this valid? And if so, how can I contact the Compaq CRL?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards
Lars Larsson
