I think you will get more response from your mail if you send it to
h5400-port@ rather than ipaq@.
I can not give you instructions on how to install Linux on the h5xxx
as I do not have one.
Regarding your "don't care" attitude, perhaps you would be willing to
lend me your iPaq in exchange for me installing Linux for you?
I am the author of http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/RamdiskRescue
and I would really like to add the h5xxx series to the machines that
Ramdisk Rescue supports. There would probably be a number of difficulties
to overcome and so the process is more likely to take months rather than
weeks, however, you should end up with a "dual-boot", _or_ native-linux
iPaq as a result (flash backup/restore/install options are planned for
RR in the future).
