I hope that someone is willing fix it for me, or to help me to do it myself.
I bricked my ipaq h5555 when trying to reflash in the original saved bootloader.
All seemed to have succeeed, but on rebooting all I got a message about "Disabling LCD Controller"
and then device locked up, never to breathe again.
Have tried all the recommended recovery stuff, even left it off for a week, still no go.
Although I might be able to do the work myself, with the proper coaching,
I would have a higher confidence level with someone who's done it before.
I can solder well, particularly if it's just to make a cable.
Don't relish the thought of a delicate disassembly / assembly, though.
I had figured to restore it to its original condition and bequeath it to my son.
Probably should have left well enough alone and stopped with it booting wince via bootldr-pxa.
So I live and learn.
Anyway, I like to say thank you for everything I've learned from you folks, and will appreciate anything you can offer now....
Sincerely,
Herb Goldman
