[iPAQ] help with 3975 ipaq

I was saving the wince file from the PDA to my home computer when it hit an error, the screen slowly dimmed and now all I get is a blank non responsive screen that slightly flashes if you try to do a soft reset or hard reset, I made a very expensive brick, now is there anyway for me to reflash the rom or have it sent somewhere other then compaq themselves to have CE put back on at a nominal cost?
