[iPAQ] 3950 & Familiar 0.8 - Bricked?

I had Familiar successfully up and running on my 3955. The battery
went low (suspended) so I plugged it into the cradle. The battery
charge light was flashing as normal. Some hours later I tried to
turn it on via the power button while it was still in the cradle.
Nothing happened. I tried the reset switch. Nothing. Now when
I plug it into the cradle I no longer get the flashing charge
light.

I can't connect via minicom.

Is it bricked? What can I do to recover?
