I tried to install Familiar 0.8 last night on my h3955. Everything
seemed to go well, but when I rebooted it hung with the Tux logo and
a message telling me to wait while it booted.
I left it go overnight and in the morning it was still stuck in
the same place. The cursor was flashing so I don't think it was
a hard lock. I know the initial boot is supposed to take a while
but I don't think this is expected behavior. :)
I could not upgrade the bootloader before the install because the
web page with the instructions seems to be broken. Could this
be part of the problem?
The web page
http://familiar.handhelds.org/releases/v0.8.0/install/upgrade-bootldr.html
is giving the following error:
Warning: main(install.inc): failed to open stream: No such file or
directory in
/home/ftp/distributions/familiar/releases/v0.8.0/install/upgrade-bootldr.html
on line 3
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'install.inc'
(include_path='.:/home/httpd/html/include') in
/home/ftp/distributions/familiar/releases/v0.8.0/install/upgrade-bootldr.html
Any ideas on any of this?
Thanks!
