[iPAQ] How to update kernel to my ipaq?

Hi,
    I have installed the ipaq with familiar 0.7.2( kernel
linux2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh30). I have the linux kernel source code on my pc.
For some reason, I have to modify the kernel a bit and recompile it. I have
done this by cross-compile the kernel on my pc. ( already make bzImage and
make modules). Then what should I do next to update the kernel for my ipaq?
copy the vmlinux to ipaq ? or do something else to it? Is there any
document for it, or who can kindly give me some instructions or suggestion.
