At the moment you still need to go through the long list of steps
to get Linux on your iPAQ.

I have been away on leave/holidays for a little over four weeks so not
much has happened in this area because of that. I have started working
on it again. At a very rough guess I would expect that it will be
between 2 and 4 weeks before you can get to the "point and click" stage
you are suggesting.
