It's still at handhelds.org, it's just that there were some major problems
with the hardware the website is running on and it has taken some time to fix
everything. The mailing lists are mostly up but the archives are still
unavailable. The wiki at http://handhelds.org/moin/ is working and being
actively maintained (most parts of it, anyway).

I'm not sure which iPAQ you have, but assuming it's currently supported (h3xxx
or h5xxx currently), you can install Familiar 0.8 on it. At the moment the
main page for Familiar is here:
