Hi,

I turn off and on my wlan card in my ipaq 5550. I have
2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36. After about 6 times I get an error when trying
to turn back on.

~ # ifconfig wlan0 down

~ # rmmod at76c503-rfmd

~ # rmmod at76c503

~ # insmod at76c503

Using /lib/modules/2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36/kernel/drivers/usb/at76c503.o

~ # insmod at76c503-rfmd

Using
/lib/modules/2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36/kernel/drivers/usb/at76c503-rfmd.o

~ # ifconfig wlan0 up

SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device

I use /etc/network/interfaces to configure the wlan

iface wlan0 inet static

        netmask 255.255.255.0

        address 192.245.115.9

        pre-up iwconfig wlan0 essid "PAWS" mode ad-hoc

        up pure-ftpd -B -S 192.245.115.9,21

        down killall pure-ftpd

Any advice?

Thanks

Maria Cruz
