Hi -
I have a problem while installing linux on my iPAQ H5500. I was able to
successfully install bootldr 2.21.12 (from Familiar v0.7.2 download) and
verified the install. But when attempting to reboot the bootldr, it
wasn't doing anything!! I don't know what to do at this point. I started
my hyperterminal, which is connected to the seriel port to my cradle. I
removed my iPAQ from cradle, held down the joypad (the center big button)
and poked the reset button from the bottom of the ipaq at the same time.
My h5500 ipaq buzzed and i released both the joypad and the reset button.
The screen stays with the WindowsCE background, but the touch screen is
now not recognizing any touches. I placed the ipaq back in the cradle and
pressed the calendar button (the left most button) but nothing happens.
NOthing happends on the ipaq screen and nothing happens in my
hyperterminal screen. I'm not sure how to get the boot> prompt....

I reset the ipaq and it came back in WinCE screen and touch screen is
workable again. Do I need to re-install the bootldr again from running
bootblaster? Also, I have tried holding down joypad while reset, but I
couldn't get to the boot> prompt. Any idea what might be wrong? I tried
this on 2 ipaqs already (both h5500).

Thanks for your time. I'm not sure what to do now to get the boot>
prompt. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Wanda
