[iPAQ] help: ipaq 5550 - permanent vibration on start

Hello,

unfortunately I have a problem with my iPAQ 5550 - that worked well after
flashing Linux on it - but does not any longer after the accu was
discharged.

When plugged in to a power supply, the device starts vibrating (what it
actually should, because there is no LCD support for the 5550 in the
bootloader).
Unfortunately - the vibrating does not stop - and I seem to not reach the
bootloader serial console.

Did anybody else face this problem? Any hints? How to proceed?
