[iPAQ] Screen shows a lot of square color blocks after suspending IPAQ 5550

Can anyone out there help me out with this problem. When I boot up the ipaq,
everything works fine, but when I start to put the ipaq on standby by
pressing the power button, everything seems fine. When I want to power back
on the ipaq, the screen shows blocks of square with many colors. I use the
serial console and everything could function. But I still cannot see
anything on the screen except the square boxes.
 
Please help.
