Great work, thanks! Works well for me here on my 3970. I particularly like the
fact that I can run kbdd then attach/detach the keyboard as I wish. (Does
keeping the serial port open with nothing connected use extra battery power,
though? I know this is how my old Palm handheld worked).

There are a few minor issues though:

1) The "snapntype" keymap is not quite right for my Belkin SnapNType keyboard,
particularly for symbol mode. I can only assume that the default keymap is
meant for some other keyboard. I've modified keyboard.h to suit mine (well,
as far as I can, because some keys can't seem to be represented using the
KEY_ constants, because they need to be shifted). If the existing snapntype
keymap is correct then I guess I should add a new keymap. Let me know and
I'll make a patch. BTW, are there valid keycodes for the IPAQ buttons? I
found that F22 (121) is suspend, but that's it.

2) It would be good if kbdd would warn you when it can't access the serial
port (eg. because it is already in use by a getty).

3) The key repeat doesn't wait long enough and is a bit fast. From a quick
look over the code I couldn't see where to change this (controlled by uinput
maybe?)

Thanks again, I have been waiting a long time to be able to use my keyboard :)

Cheers,
Paul
