[iPAQ] Bluetooth: bnep not created

Linux 2.4.19 (hh30)
Fami 0.7.2 (stable)
 
The following commands run fine:
>modprobe bluez
>modprobe hci_uart
>modprobe l2cap
>hciattach /dev/tts/1 bcsp 921600
>hciconfig hci0 up
>hcitool inq
>pand --connect 00:01:02:02:70:38
 
can also run:
./bluetooth scan
./bluetooth pair
./bluetooth connect
and:
hcitool cc 00:01:02:02:70:38
hcitool con
and:
modprobe bnep
 
but, cat /proc/net/dev never reveals a bnep0 (or any bnep) nor does ifconfig. Cannot get a dev created!
