[iPAQ] CE soft reset lost all

Hi!

I have a question. I'm used familiar for a half year, but now I put back
windows CE couse I got a GPS thing and it isnt working with linux :(,
the linux bootloader is on now I dont put back the old.
So, If I press the soft reset button and the linux bootloader appiers,
all programs/data that I installed on the ipaq always lost.
If I press the soft reset button, and I can't see the linux bootloader
there is all programs/data stay on the ipaq in usable state.

So maybe the linux bootloader is buggy? Or what?
