Hi guys,
First of all thanks for reading my email.
I'm looking for advice on a problem I'm stuck with and it has
nothing to do with development.
Here it is : I have IPAQ H3600 with Familiar Linux 7.2 (developer/console
edition)
with a LAN card expansion.
I have a medical device, which is created to connect to normal PC -s on
their COM ports.
Unfortunately my IPAQ haven't got COM port ( ttyS0 or ttyS1 on Linux).
So I'm wondering if you have any ideas what hardware I need to install one
?
I can use the LAN card to control the IPAQ via SSH (dropbear),
so the cradle is free. Maybe that's the solution to use some kind of
bridge cable ?
But even if there is such a cable, I will still not be able to use it,
because
Familiar Linux waits for connections from DesktopPC on the cradle and I'm
unable to stop this behaviour.
Any hints will be appreciated.
have a nice day/night,
Kaloyan
