Well, I spoke too soon. After this morning's message, I thought I had
restored my 3950 to the iPAQ ROM, version 1.11. I flashed the ROM as I
outlined in my previous message, and it booted to the iPAQ screen, I
calibrated the screen, and got the Today screen. I put it in the cradle
and connected to hot sync.
I did a normal reset, and instead of the iPAQ coming back, I got the ARM
Bootloader (Rev. 2.12.12). I put the iPAQ back into the cradle and
connected with Hyper Terminal. Here is the result:
boot> boot wince
Disabling LCD controller
UFF
UNDF
0004012C
FFD7F977
And the iPAQ went black. I can get the Bootloader to run, but I'm out
of ideas regarding the ROM image and how to proceed from this point.
Any help you can offer will be appreciated!
TIA,
Walt
