The first boot after an install takes quite a while, as there is some setup activity which has to run like generating ssh keys and temporary file systems etc.
The best bet is to have it boot, and just be patient and let it run it's course.

I got that also, once each time. The first time I boot it (hard reset, then
enter ">boot"), it freezes, or at least waits too long for me. Then I hard
reset it again and this time it boots (still needs about 3min). I got also a 5550, but with bootopie-build16. The difference is I don't get as
many messages as you have during the boot. I don't know if they are normal,
someone better than me may answer :)
for example I dont see :

My only suggestion is perhaps you havent waited enough time for it to boot, or
try to flash it again, maybe with another image, like opie ?
Good luck !
