Hello all, I've installed Familiar 0.7.3 ("bootgpe2-latest-h3900.jffs2")
on my 5550. The operation went fine, no errors.
When I tried to boot here's what happened:
boot> boot

Booting Linux image
Uncompressing Linux........................................... done,
booting the
kernel.
Which looks good, in my opinion. Problem is, the IPAQ is stuck with the
Linux penguin on the screen (i.e. during the boot sequence). The unit
does charge up in the cradle (blinking led). If I soft/hard reset I just
go back to the penguin image... If I soft/hard reset and then press the
"calendar key" to enable the boot loader serial line, boot loader
responds (pheeew) but still the system hangs on boot. The unit does not
turn off.
Any suggestion? Do I have to go back to WinCE (gasp)?
Thanks in advance,
Marco Cecconi
