[iPAQ] 5450 unable to wake up from sleep/suspend

I have loaded familiar with bootgpe2-v0.7.2-h3900.jffs2 and
bootldr-pxa-2.21.12.bin when I press the power button it goes into
sleep/suspend just fine (when I am connected through the serial it stops
responding). The problem is that when I try to wake it up (by pressing the
power button) all I get on the screen is colorful squares across the screen.
  Linux seams to wake up just fine as the terminal start responding again.
all I can do to recover is issue a "shutdown -r now" and it reboots just
fine. Also I am having trouble getting the sound to work. Any help would
be appreciated. thanks Doug
