[iPAQ] Bootloader development

Hi!
We would like to adopt the hh.org bootldr to a new platform. Alex Lange
did this for the SIMpad and we think that this proofs that bootldr is
portable ;)
But I would like to run the bootldr from RAM first while still in
development.
In the "older" days osloader.exe could do this.
But the old osloader version 1.5.4 I could find on the hh.org servers
does not like newer bootloaders andymore - too big.

So, is there any new method for bootldr development testing in RAM
before flashing?
Or, are the osloader sources available somewhere so that we might be
able to extend the size limit?
