FWIW:

I want to know the answer to this myself. So that's two of us looking for
more information on the I/O mode of the iPAQ
Expansion Bus.

I am going to be using the iPAQ for an Imaging system and need to generate
precise timmings and
readout of the CCD.

I can build a whole controller to do it sure . but i've got an iPAQ and I'd
love to make it do it.
Passing the info back to a host over USB or Ethernet.
