Ok, I'll try to disconnect the rx pin from the circuit and connect both tx/rx to
an external serial port that handles 1Mbit and run pskey on a PC.
We can do this with relative ease because we have FTDI chips here that handle
that speed, work at 3.3V, give ttl outputs, etc.
If this works, the same can be done by opening a cheap usb<->serial converter
and hacking the connections inside :)
I'll post the results as soon as we can give it a try.
