Well, I don't know, but definitely it should be removed if they (Bahia)
object or finally release another working driver.

I received couple of thank you letters. I also received one with
somewhat valid argument that patching of binaries and removing
expiration limits is very near to cracking and warez mentality and if
not illegal in this case, it is definitely not fair to release such
information to the public.

As you can download the driver directly, and in the single readme.txt
included in the zip there are mentioned no restrictions of usage except
single sentence 'This driver is free for personnal usage but must not be
redistributed.', I believe that it is legal to do whatever you want with
the binary as long as you use it only for personal usage.

It may be unfair to release the information to the public, but IMHO it
is also unfair to not to keep the word about releasing new versions
before the expiration of the old ones, to not answer mail and leave
people in a mess.

I did it mainly because I thought the company was dead (the site was
down, nobody answered mail). It is sad to see the woes on the mailing
list about the driver and it is a pity to see such useful piece of work
simply vanish because the company no longer cares. But the site is up
again and I was assured that the company is not dead so maybe there will
be next version after all, who knows. I don't care if someone puts it in
the wiki. I won't do it.
