This sounds perfect, i think all ports to newer iPaqs could need some
help. With some experiance in cross development you should get along
quite fast :-) For kernel 2.4 use the GCC 3.3.1 toolchain...

I think the danger of bricking the iPaq is not that high, except you
flash a wrong bootloader. But it looks like restoring Pocket PC seems to
be a little bit tricky at the moment. We have a H5550 running with linux
here and it starts to become useful :-)

With the handwriting recognition you are right, but it might be a good
idea too train and test rosetta - i think Ole appreciates some feedback
and suggestions :-)
