Actualy I can't use the 5400 ROM because it is PPC2002 and doesn't have
the same hardware or software. As an example, HP removed the cIR and Nevo
software (VERY upsetting!) and the 5500 has a 200mhz bus and PXA 255 proc.
Not sure what differences the hardware makes on the software but I'm sure
their are some.
I was trying to get at some of the files from the ROM on the iPAQ which
is how I lost the ROM. I was using some of the Bootloader tools to make
a bin image that I could extract on my Desktop to work with when all he**
broke loose and I lost the ROM. I've talked with Jamie about a week ago
trying to see if he could help me get the ROM copied off but lost contact
with him before he could help me with it. I'll see if he can help me now.
As for the 3600 image that someone was wanting, I think they have a copy
of it on the handhelds.org site but if you can't find it email me directly
and I will send it to you. I have about 65 iPAQs of all models. But unfortunately
only 1 5555 of course.
