[iPAQ] IPAQ 3765 Restore

After restoring my IPAQ 3765 back to Pocket PC 2002
(ver 3.0) whenever I do a soft reset it erases
everything just as if I had done a hard reset. I
thought it may be because I had not yet loaded the
original boot loader. However when I tried this I ran
to into a problem. (See screen info below). I created
the parrot.bin file by doing "dd bs=1024 count=256
if=ce.img of=parrot.bin". The ce.img is the .nbf I
downloaded from Compaq(uh HP) minus the first 32
bytes. "dd bs=32 skip=1 if=NK_Glamis3722003WWE.nbf
of=ce.img"

I would appreciate any help you can give me on
finishing the restoration process so I can soft reset
the device if necessary without loosing all the
programs I have installed on it and my data. I don't
care which bootldr I use just as long as it works.
