[iPAQ] weird problem on my iPaq

Hello all,

I've got an iPaq 3975 with v0.7 rc1 installed on it. I also have the
Nexian dual CF sleeve, with a Memorex 512MB card in slot 1, and a
Netgear 701 802.11b card in slot 0.

With the iPaq on power (in the cradle), a few minutes after having
logged in, the entire screen goes a dimmed white. The only way I can
recover is to reset the box. Kind of a bummer. The 802.11 card dies, and
along with it my serial connection.

Ideas?

On a side note, I've been having problems getting the iPaq to recognize
the CF cards I have plugged into the Nexian on bootup. The only
semi-successful thing I've been able to do to recover is to restart the
cardmgr.
