checking the "free" output on occasion, it looks like this kernel doesn't
do nearly the aggressive fs caching as a mainstream kernel... given
the resource situation, this is certainly a good idea, but all the perf
gains we get used to won't be there either....
confirm/deny of this would be worth hearing, though :)
