[iPAQ] ERROR RESTORING POCKET PC

Dear handhelds family,

I am RESTORING POCKET PC FROM wince_image.gz
and I have received the message "ERROR LIMIT EXCEEDED",
since in the Restoring instructions you indicate:

"Warning: Please carefully read the messages produced
by the following commands. Should you receive an error
message of any kind, DO NOT PROCEED. Please send
a message to ipaq_at_handhelds.org"

what should I do?
I am waiting for your answer

The following details can be useful. The state
is the following

boot> load root
partition root is a jffs2 partition:
expecting .jffs2 or wince_image.gz
After receiving file, will automatically uncompress .gz images
loading flas region root
using xmodem
reading xmodem download..

After five minutes of transmission the error
"ERROR LIMIT EXCEEDED" in a windows window
has appear.

I am using:
- IPAQ 3970: Linux Familiar with Bootloader 2.19.56 and
bootgpe2-pbh7-h3900.jffs2
- Desktop: Win-98 using HyperTerminal and transfering
wince_image.gz using X-Modem
