Hi,
Dunno if any of you have seen this yet, but RATOC systems have developed a
USB Host CF card, see:
http://web2.rexpccard.co.jp/english/products/subpages/cfu1u.html
I wrote to them asking about Linux support and here's the reply I got:
> Dear customer,

I had a look at the Cypress code ("developer" registration rqd.), they provide
a GPL'd driver, based on the 2.4.4-rmk3 kernel, designed for an ARM
development board (Accelent?). So, hopefully it should just be a matter of
providing a PCMCIA section for this driver, if we can get the relevant info
from Ratoc.
Personally, I have no kernel hacking experience, so any volunteers? I'd be
happy to buy a card and help bugfix.
As a side note, the cypress chip can also act as a slave device, so with a bit
more coding it might be possible to make your ipaq look like a mass storage
device, could be useful.
