The only thing I wasn't doing was adding --with-cpu=strongarm110 to the
configure scripts. I have cross compiled the good old hello program and it
works fine on my ipaq.

One thing that I am curious about that you may know the answer to, is why
arm-linux-gcc won't detect c++ code and compile it? On my Debian based pc gcc
does this. I know about arm-linux-g++ and things are working fine but did I
miss something during compilation of the cross compiler?
