Here's the official capabilities the UDA1341 driver should support on the
iPAQ H36xx. Any other audio format _must_ be handled in user space i.e.
converted from/to a format supported by the hardware. No driver hack for
this is acceptable.

Channels: always 2 (stereo)
Sample size: always 16 bit per channel

Supported sample rates in Hz:
48000, 44100, 32000, 29400, 24000, 22050,
21970, 16000, 14647, 10985, 10666, 8000.

Those parameters apply for both recording and playback. Full duplex audio
is possible, but the sampling rate has to be the same for both record and
playback.
