[iPAQ] Manual partitioning of the iPAQ memory

I have successfully loaded Linux and OPIE onto a 3630. I would like to know
if I can manually change the /dev/mtdblock/1 (or root) partition to a
different size to that which is used as default (16128 blocks). I would like
to make it about 18000 blocks so that I can load a few useful applications.
Is this possible if so how?
