No, but it will not boot wince, only the installed linux. the bootloader
does a verification BEFORE writing the image to flash.
Your wince_image.gz is broken. Try to uncompress it on a linux box
gunzip -t wince_image.gz
it should fail. if not just retry the upload. if it fails (what I do
expect), you must get a working wince_image from an other 3955.
(Or make linux work and forget about wince)
