Re: [iPAQ] dual booting familiar with 3670 and an IBM Microdrive

I don't really understand why it's necessary to recompile the kernel.
The standard familiar build doesn't include ext2 built in, but it does
include cramfs which should be OK for an initrd. Ext2 and ext3 are both
provided as modules and you can load them from the initrd.
