[iPAQ] Non-responsive unit

Hi there.

I loaded Linux on my iPAQ H3835 about 7 months ago. (The initial
install was done about 7 months ago and I never updated the original
kernel download/install since.)
Today I was looking into the instructions on how to reset the system
with the original WinPocket since I have not been using it lately ( I
saved the necessary data as per instruction for a PocketPC restoration.)
I was attempting to connect to the iPAQ with the hyperterminal but was
experiencing problems achieving a connection. Then the Linux penguin
image disappeared from the iPAQ and it seems non responsive at all now.

Can you help? Thanks
