yes it certainly is..
i've had this problem before with 2.19.xx bootldr
even when you have linux on, check /proc/hal/assets and you'll get
garbage..
i'd suggest you switch back to a 2.18.x bootldr,
otherwise, reinstall the parrot bootldr.
your assets partition should be fine, it's just that bootldr isn't
identifying it properly.
