Hello,
I am trying to connect my 3950 to my PC.
After patching usbnet on my desktop switching endpoints in source (I
patched from a 2.4.20-3 kernel retrieved from debian kernel sources),
and installing the -hh4 kernel version grabbed from cvs (which includes
last version of usb_ctl.c), each time i plug my IPAQ on the craddle and
bring up usbf interface (through /etc/init.d/init-usbnet start), my
desktops logs the message :
"hub.c: connect-debounce failed, port 1 disabled". This occurs
systematically, on any usb connector of the desktop (except USB2 ports
(*) which I didn't test). I have also other USB devices (SD card reader,
but no other usb-net device except 3900) which work perfectly on the
same ports.
Do anyone have any idea on the cause of this message ?
Regards,
Bruno
PS: (*)by the way, does the 39XX hardware make it possible to implement
an USB2 interface ?
