We need to learn to think ahead. This development (Linux on iPaq) is about thinking ahead, and will not be ready for
prime time for at least XY months in any case. If you try to sell 8 MB RAM device in XY months, you will be ...

I fully support the "keep one tree" approach for any Linux software, KDE/GNOME included. But things will be done twice,
if at all, for VERY short time here. 4 yeas ago I was using desktop with 32 MB RAM and 200Mhz CPU...

This will change very fast as developers see the option of running on PDA platform. This way, they will "adjust". That
way, they would re-write. Never...
