The additional ability to mix multiple toolkits on the same platform
should make applications more available as well; non-X environments
frequently limit the API for applications quite severely.

Some of us are starting to enjoy anti-aliased fonts every day with X; I'm
starting to finally believe they're useful myself. The iPAQ will also
benefit from "clear-type" like technologies which use separate RGB opacity
values to use the extra resolution available on LCD screens.
