Not hard, if you take the case off.

yup. This is why the internal connector is documented: we can get serious
people details on the internal connector part numbers for researchers who
want to take it for a spin.

Alot of the current HUD's, though, take VGA out: for that other hackery
is required: some may be able to be made to work directly with the LCD
connector.
