Great stuff. My knowledge of X is embarassingly rusty, but an idea has
occurred, and I hope people will be able to help me get up to speed here by
at the very least shooting me down in nice flames ;)
Is it feasible to address this problem with an Xnest-type approach? that
is, have an outer server translate strokes to events for the inner?
Alternatively, is the same chained approach feasible with window managers,
so a stroke-recognising manager can intervene between X and the 'stock'
window manager of the user's choosing?
Time to go hunting for my old textbooks, I think.
