Incidentally, is it possible to stop the once-every-second error
messages that appear on my desktop's console about "can't assign device
a USB number" when my iPAQ is in its cradle but turned off? For this
reason I usually leave it turned on when in the cradle, but I would turn
it off if it didn't pollute my console.
