Hello,

That is exactly right. /proc/hal/battery gives the conflicting
Status: 0x40 (fully charged) and Percentage: 0x00 (0%).

Also of note was when I reloaded WinCE to see what that did, it would
not charge and the battery graph was missing. Since my iPAQ 3835 is
still under warranty I am going to send it back to HP and get it fixed
while I still can.
